<p>Sometimes, I like to ask the question <em>what&#8217;s in the &#8220;future&#8221;</em> <img title="Smiley" src="http://i40.tinypic.com/fp5clv.gif" alt="" width="20" height="20" />, but then my attention is directed to what we&#8217;ve lost in the past. For instance, where did Thomas Edison&#8217;s public display of scientific experiments at Menlo Park go? Where is the ingenuity that resulted from the Tesla-Edison war industrial revolution commercial war? What about time travel? What about black holes? What about three dimensional imagination, and some really <em>really </em>cool stuff that the capital markets can&#8217;t structure to obtain, being a form of market failure by the invisible hand. Where is all that PASSION that scientists had in the past to reach the moon and achieve the impossible, and why are scientists these days, simply <em>bored</em>?<br />
有時候，我想問的問題是什麼在“未來”，但後來我的注意力是針對我們已經失去了過去。舉例來說，如果沒有托馬斯愛迪生的公開展示的科學實驗在門羅公園去？哪裡是智慧，得益於特斯拉，愛迪生戰爭工業革命的商業戰爭？哪裡是所有的激情，科學家們在過去到達月球，實現不可能的，人們為什麼這幾天，只要無聊嗎？</p>
<p>Well, I&#8217;m not going to waste my life wondering about the status quo. I&#8217;m going to use whatever lemons <img title="Smiley" src="http://i39.tinypic.com/zsr4w9.gif" alt="" width="20" height="20" /> life has given me and make lemonade out of it <img title="Smiley" src="http://i40.tinypic.com/xopfnd.gif" alt="" width="20" height="20" />, making my own non-existent hypothetical normative views!!! <em>Who cares </em>about what other people think about you. Who said lawyers have to be mean, or accountants have to be boring, or engineers have to be bookworms. I&#8217;m gonna be who I wanna be <img title=":)" src="http://i43.tinypic.com/qxqki9.png" alt="" width="21" height="21" />. It&#8217;s my dream to be apart of the new generation of inventors, and you can join me on that adventure here on my official portfolio. I might not be the smartest (there&#8217;s always someone smarter), but I&#8217;m gonna be myself because only I can do that <img title=":D" src="http://i39.tinypic.com/2bumhf.png" alt="" width="21" height="21" />.<br />

It started with <a href="http://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=jeremy+shum">Google Scholar</a>, then my school projects on ProjectShum, the industrial engineering school project <a href="www.miley5.net">Miley5! Weekly</a>, yadidadida&#8230; it&#8217;s so amazing what you can do in life <img title=":)" src="http://i43.tinypic.com/qxqki9.png" alt="" width="21" height="21" />!!<br />
